CORPORATE SUMMARY
B2Gold Corp. (“B2Gold”) is a Vancouver-based gold mining company with five operating mines in Nicaragua, the Philippines, Namibia, and Mali.
Since B2Gold went public in 2007, the Company’s strategic focus has been to make accretive acquisitions of development-stage mineral properties, successfully finance and build mines, generating dramatic growth in gold production and cash flow. In addition, B2Gold has a highly successful exploration team that continues to make additional discoveries on the Company’s existing properties and early-stage exploration projects.
In 2018, B2Gold’s consolidated gold production is projected to dramatically increase – a large portion of this increase is attributable to the Company’s new, flagship mine, Fekola, in southwest Mali. Fekola will be responsible for the Company nearing the one-million-ounces-of-gold-per-year mark and gaining senior gold producer status. The mine will also play a major role in maintaining and strengthening the Company’s status as a low-cost, profitable gold producer and is expected to help generate dramatic increases in consolidated revenue and cash flow.
Within ten years, B2Gold has evolved from a junior exploration company, with no producing assets, into a new senior gold producer. The Company is listed on the TSX as “BTO”, NYSE AMERICAN as “BTG” and NSX as “B2G”.
