In partnership with Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica), the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF2023) welcomed participants to the African Hub at the TIFF industry centre from September 7-17, 2023.

The re-launch of the African Hub whose purpose is to shine a spotlight on African cinema and promote more relationships between Canada and Africa was a big success.

Spearheading this initiative is CCAfrica’s Creative Entertainment Industries department whose mandate is to foster and facilitate Canada-Africa co-productions, collaborations, joint ventures and capacity building.

African Hub provides Canadian and African film professionals a vital platform to network, explore opportunities, connect with potential partners and investors, and benefit from B2B/B2G matching.
