ABOUT MINING INDABA
The Canadian Council on Africa, in partnership with the Government of Canada, invite you to join Mining Indaba 2016, Africa’s largest mining event. For over 20 years, Investing in Mining Indaba and its partners in Africa have channeled billions of dollars of foreign investment into the mining value chain. Mining Indaba is the world’s largest gathering of mining’s most influential stakeholders and decision-makers in African mining.

The 7th Interactive Breakfast Forum brings together a panel of experts with a moderator, to discuss a theme that is topical for anyone with an interest in mining and mining-related issues. The value of Canadian mining assets in Africa surpassed $24 billion in 2013, up from $22 billion in 2012. As the voice of Canada’s mineral exploration and development industry, PDAC is interested in hearing about the experiences of Canadian companies operating in Africa. This focus group will be an opportunity for Canadian companies to outline what supports they need to find and develop the mines of the future in Africa.
