The Canadian Council on Africa signs Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The African Entrepreneurs Council in South Africa.

The Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica) and the African Entrepreneurs Council (AEC) is pleased to announce the partnership between the two organisations. This partnership will strengthen business relationships between Canadian and South African companies. “Business to business relationships between Canadian and South African companies or institutions is very critical in order to increase business and investment between the two nations”, said Mr Nyameko Goso, Consul General of South Africa to Canada.

CCAfrica will collaborate with AEC in increasing trade that will also employ their best efforts to promote entrepreneurship, economic, scientific and technological interests between Canada and South Africa with the support of South African and Canadian organisations trade and investment activities.

The President and CEO of the CCAfrica, Mr. Nola Kianza said “the MOU is in line with CCAfrica mandate which is to build business images with like-minded organisations within the African continent that will lead to business and investment partnerships between Canada and the rest of Africa, in this case with AEC members”.

Furthermore, the partnership will stand to promote the development of a strategic roadmap to encourage innovative entrepreneurship development in both South Africa and Canada of which includes collaboration in the organisation of fairs, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, conferences, business meetings, business missions and other similar events.

“I am thrilled to announce this partnership with the CCAfrica. It is of vital importance to have clutched the opportunity as is the only pan-Canadian and national organisation dedicated to promoting trade and economic development between Canada and the continent of Africa” said the President of the AEC, Mr. George Sebulela.
