AeTrade Group and Canadian Council on Africa Partnership
AeTrade Group and Canadian Council on Africa (CCAfrica) are pleased to announce the partnership between the two organizations. During the commemoration of the 1st Africa Integration Day on July 7, 2020, the leaders of the African Union and the AeTrade Group launched an African Electronic trade platform, www.sokokuu.africa, that will enable fast communication, information exchange and business linkages between micro, small, medium and large enterprises across Africa and internationally (Click here to view press release). This platform will provide members and partners of CCAfrica additional mechanism to better connect with their African partners and learn about business opportunities in timely manner. CCAfrica is delighted to partner and support the AeTrade Group in promoting this vehicle which is going to become a largest digital trading platform on the African continent.
The A-eTrade Group is a multi-stakeholder group of African Diaspora, professionals and business-people, with affiliation to the African Union Commission, committed to designing, developing and implement an e-commerce and e-empowerment programs that will enhance intra-and inter-African trade, with a focus on mobilizing and expanding opportunities for the youth, women and small and medium enterprises in Africa.
The CCAfrica is a Not for Profit and a Pan-Canadian organization with presence across Canada with the mandate to promote Trade and Economic Development between Canada and the Continent Africa. Created in 2002, members of the Canadian Council on Africa represent all the sectors of the Canadian economies, from the private to public institutions. In the past seven years, CCAfrica has been coordinating and leading one of the largest Canadian business missions to the African Continent.
This partnership between AeTrade Group and CCAfrica is aimed to strengthening trade and investment relations and develop reciprocal business cooperation between Canada and the Continent of Africa under the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
