Africa's economic growth accelerated after 2000, making it the world's thrid-fastest growing region. The following MAI indicates the total AfDB funding by african country as well as the progress being made in African governance.

The Canadian Council on Africa has mapped out Africa's exports and imports to find that a few countries, namely Algeria, Angola and Zambia have benefited from a trade surplus in 2010.
